Located in Tai Po, New Territories, the "Old District Office North" is located on a small hill. Although the location is relatively hidden, it is not difficult to find. Going up the stairs along the uphill, along the way, there are lush foliage, the fragrance of flowers, and the English-style street lights on both sides make people feel that they have gone back to the past, which is very special.
"Old District Office North" was built in the British Edwardian architectural style, with red bricks and granite as the main structure. At the same time, in order to adapt to the tropical climate of Asia, it is also equipped with architectural elements such as open corridors and arched doors and windows to adjust the temperature. The entire building has not undergone major remodeling, and both the outdoor red brick walls or the indoor classical fireplaces are very well preserved.
"Old District Office North" is a two-storey building with a simple design, and the red brick walls and white doors and windows are in harmony. Especially in the warm sunlight, it shows its distinct feeling and elegant feelings. Against the backdrop of the green trees, it forms a beautiful picture, so it is also a good place to take pictures.
