Legend said that during the Southern Song Dynasty, the emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty fled to the south to escape the pursuit of Yuan soldiers, and lived in the area of today's Kowloon City for a short period of time. After the fall of the Southern Song Dynasty, the local residents inscribed three characters "Sung Wong Toi" on the boulder of a small hill to commemorate the emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty who lived here.
The layout of "Sung Wong Toi Garden" is quite simple, and there is no special garden landscaping. In the garden, there is only this stone tablet with full of historical value, and a brief introduction to some of the life stories of the Emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty.
If you want to take a look here, it is recommended to take the MTR to Sung Wong Toi Station and leave at Exit D. After that, follow the signs on the signboard and walk along Dakota Dr for about 3 minutes to the Olympic Ave, and then you can see this park.
