This place, named "Hong Kong Film Archive", opened in 2001 and is a four-story building. According to records, in addition to preserving the heritage of Hong Kong's film culture, it also collects a lot of information about Hong Kong's film industry. It feels like a museum that introduces the film industry of Hong Kong.
As for the resource center, there are thousands of audio tapes, video tapes, magazines, articles and scripts for visitors to borrow, all of which are related to the film industry in Hong Kong. It can definitely be said to be rich in resources. In the cinema, there are about 125 seats, and some old movies will be shown regularly for visitors to enjoy.
"Hong Kong Film Archive" is open from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Also, admission to here is free. So if you are interested in reading materials about the Hong Kong film industry, but don't want to spend the money, then visiting here must be a program not to be missed.
If you want to visit here, it is recommended to take the MTR to Sai Wan Ho Station and leave at Exit A. Afterwards, walk along Tai On Street until you reach Lei King Road. It only takes about 5 minutes to get there, and it is very easy to find.
